About Me!

Patricia Kennon-James is the daughter of L.C. Kennon (deceased) and Nettie Kennon-Bell. She was born in Washington County and graduated from the Washington County High School in 1979 with honors, Chatom, AL. She received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Bishop State Community College, Mobile, Alabama in 1981 with honors (Phi Theta Kappa); a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1997 with honors (Gamma Beta Phi).

Patricia is the proud mother of Demetrius (Porsha) and Shantea and the blessed grandmother of Caleb, Eli, and Mykah. Her life is a life that emulates service and she has served in various compacities throughout ~30 years of ministry. 

 She has served as a salvation counselor, intercessory prayer ministry leader, Sunday school teacher, Leadership Development Instructor, a member of the International Interdenominational Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries, Volunteer at the Health & Fitness Center, Power Partner, served on the ministerial staff, Shoe Ministry Giveaway team leader, International Outreach Ministry team with annual mission trips to El Salvador to promote the love of Christ, with emphasis on the women and children ministries. 

Patricia was called into ministry in 1993 and was licensed as a minister to preach in 2001 (New Beginnings Christian Church – Pastor Lester Bell, Sr) and ordained as an Elder in 2004 (Free Holiness Church of God – Bishop Willie J. Brown). Patricia received her Certificate of ministry from the Word of Life Christian College & Theological Seminary in 2004 and received her Master of Divinity in 2005. Patricia graduated from “Leadership Mobile” class of 2009. Patricia accepted the call to the office of Pastor in August 2017 and founded/incorporated MyHeart2U Healing & Deliverance Community Church in October 2017. She completed her graduate studies in 2018 – Doctor of Biblical Studies.

Patricia is a Nursing Home Administrator with years of Executive Healthcare Management experience, Certified Quality/Risk Manager, Registered – Licensed Dietitian, Nutritionist (RD/N), Certified ServSafe Instructor & Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor, Certified Health Coach and Weight Loss Management & Behavior Change Specialist. Patricia’s job and experience are both rich and very diverse. She is an entrepreneur and has had her own professional dietary consultant services for over 20 years (MyHeart2U Professional Nutritional Consulting Services) with ~30 years of experience in the healthcare field and over 35 plus years of managerial experience.

In 2008, Patricia was named “Healthcare Hero” by the Alabama Hospital Association for her dedication to the healthcare field. She has been featured in the Chamber of Commerce – Business View, Catholic Weekly, Mobile/Baldwin Registry, CHE Digest and Mercy’s Voice of Mercy. She was also featured in the very first volume of HealthWise, “Healing is more than Physical”.

Patricia served as a Mercy Associate with the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. Patricia’s true passion and calling is in the arena of prayer and service. She co-founded the Radical Believers of Prayer Intercessory Ministry (2002) (James 5:15, 16 – The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much). She served as a Prayer Partner Captain for TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). She serves as a Global Intercessor Prayer Leader for FOCFI (Family of Churches Fellowship International) under the leadership of Bishops RC & Samuel Blakes along with being the Spiritual Coordinator of S.W.I.M. (Sisters Winning in Ministry). She also serves as an intercessor for Girlfriends Pray Ministry and is the Chaplain for Nurse Mentor Consultant Services, Inc. 

Her life is a life dedicated to service, prayer and interceding on the behalf of others. She has a passion to empower, ignite, educate/equip, and activate everyone that she encounters, to live out Philippians 4:13 and to be all that they can be and to accomplish their God given kingdom assignment. She utilizes this philosophy in every facet of her life. Patricia believes that God has given her the mandate to “empower” all people to be all that God says they can be. She does this by teaching the Word of God in a revelatory, yet simplistic manner while living a life of service to the Kingdom. She does this in every facet of her life, whether in the church, corporate setting, the community or at work. Patricia is submitted under the covering of Bishop RC and Lady Lisa Blakes. 

Patricia has published several books: Faithfully Favored & FITTT (5 Power Principles to Excelling While Serving with a Pure Heart) www.DrPatriciaJames.com, Faithfully Favored & FITTT iServe Study Guide, F.I.T by God’s Design Planner (for Serving, Health, Nutrition & Fitness for L.I.F.E.), and P.H.A.T Chic: Daily Fitness & Nutrition Journal. She is also the founder of P.H.A.T. Chic Mentoring Academy which will launch in 2020 along with Patricia K. James Global Ministries. 

Dr. Patricia K. James also known as “Dr. Pat, the PHAT Nutritionist” or “Dr. J” (to her mentees) is indeed one of God’s Kingdom Change Agents. With her authentic, Heart2Heart transparent approach, character and integrity, she is committed to empowering, igniting, equipping and activating global women from the Executive Office to the Church on how to become FIT (Focused + Impact = Transformation) & PHAT (Pursuing Health And Transformation) for LI.F.E (Lifelong Impact For Everyday) by God’s Design as they operate authentically and un-apologetically in their Kingdom Assignment with a spirit of excellence with the mandate, YES, I AM Enough!!
